"I am making crocheted prayer blankets for patients at the hospital, working with the pastor there in the hospital. She scopes out people that are alone have no visitors and are depressed and elderly.
The first one I gave her to find a home for was a lady that needed her foot removed due to diabetes. She was mad at the world and had no one, refusing the surgery. Just bitter. The pastor gave her the prayer blanket …it is kind of lap cover size made of yarn. I enclose a letter that says " This prayer blanket was made by someone that loves you , hold it close and let it warm you and God will do the rest"
When she gave it to her her whole outlook changed, she allowed the surgery and allowed rehab to work with her, the pastor said a student nurse saw the change and called it a miracle.
The pastor told her people just sometimes need to think someone cares. I don't think the nurse will ever forget it, what a blessing I hope she thinks of the prayer blanket every time she deals with a difficult patient sometimes it is just fear of the unknown that drives to meanness.
I wish I could make them faster but my wrists can only do so much. But that is ok I am sure God will let me do what I need to when I need to do it."

I am Free
If you had 8 car wrecks, 3 flip-overs, 2 head-on collisions due to drug, then what did you do about the drug problem? Have you ever suffered back pain, knee pain, heart pain, lung pain, headaches and all kinds of pain in your body? How much prescribed drug or illegal drug does your body really needs to address the pain problem?
Have you ever been abused by somebody else you really trust? How do you address that emotional hurt and psychological pain problems? Would the street drugs help at all? No, not at all. The pain is still there. The drugs just cover it up like you have no problem at all. After awhile your body may develop resistance to all these drugs so you have to have more drugs, stronger dosages to address the deeper drug and pain problems.
Have you ever wanted to quit thinking about the pain, the hurt and all the sadness in your life, but your mind and heart won't quit thinking or feeling about it? The more you have tried the harder it seems to get rid of all these thoughts and feelings. Using the street drugs or being addicted to the pain killers is just a way to cover up something deeper.
You may have a spiritual problem. Your heart needs to be fixed. You may need to make peace with God first and to have the peace of God in your heart more than anything else first.
After confessing all your sins, unrighteousness and repented of all your sins, you asked and received God's forgiveness for your sins. The blood of Jesus Christ washes away all your sins and unrighteousness. You are set free to worship God, to love God for a very first time. After the sinner's prayer, you have given your heart to the Lord Jesus; he is your master, your Lord and Savior; He is your Healer, your Deliverer and Redeemer. He is your God. You want Him now more than anything in the world.
Then suddenly all the desire to seek drugs, all the pain and anguish in your soul and body vanished, disappeared, no where to be found. You are elated, excited about the headache which is gone now; the heaviness in your heart is also lifted up; your mind suddenly is clear. What's going on? What did just happen to you? The Lord Jesus just touched you. That's all. It's His divine finger. It's His amazing love and powerful grace that reached deep down in your soul and pulled you back out. You have been trying to hide, to run away from all your pain. No more. No more shame. No more guilt. No more sickness and diseases. You are free to run. You are free to dance. You are free to live for Him, the One who saves you and redeems you from the pit of hell.
It was you that God has had an appointment today on the street of life. Grace has found you. It's God's amazing grace that saved such a sinner like me. I once was lost, but now I am found; was blind but now I see. You are full of joy now. Hallelujah.
If this describes you, just praise the Lord for He is great; God is good all the time. Oh yes, He is going to use you to give testimonies. The young people whose life has been wrecked will hear you and turn away from their wicked ways. They will make their choices to run toward God or away from God. Glory be to God in the Highest.

Demonic Voices Be Gone in Jesus' Name
Have you ever heard voices in your head, in your mind that harass you day and night with guilt, shame which you cannot just get rid of at will? The voices condemning, putting guilt trip on her heart get worse when one day they prompted this poor soul to try to kill herself on the streets of life.
She is tired, sick; diseases attack her body, nothing much to live for. Problems with unforgiveness with her husband for what he did to her precious children; her mother was domineering. She could no longer stand the pressure any more. She has done everything she could to protect her loved ones.
Going from one doctor to the next, trying to find the help she needs but no one seems to be able to help her. The drugs she got from her prescription does not ease her guilt. The voices were persistent and condemning.
One day on the streets of hope, she met the Lord Jesus Christ. He was so tender and loving; he listened to her pain, hurt and feelings of depression and desperation. She wanted to talk to someone. Who was out there able to listen to me Oh Lord?
After pouring out her heart, emptying her mind, confessing all the sins, repenting of her sins, and forgiving those who hurt her in the past many years, she was led to rebuke the sickness in her body, her mind, her heart, God in His mercy and grace and power through Jesus Christ has set her free. Instantly she broke out cry of joy and tears streaming down her cheeks, "Yes, I am free. No more pain. No more depression. No more letting sin dominate me any more."
She is now able to let go of the past. She chooses to be happy in Jesus Christ, no longer letting the past tearing her apart. Hallelujah! Amen.
God, you are good. You are great to us all.

Overcoming grief
How would you feel? What would you do if you witness the fatal shooting of your daughter? How would you cope with the loss of a very young daughter whom you love? How well would you grieve? How would you overcome the grief and do not let it overcome you?
How would you feel toward God? Angry at God? Why didn't He protect your daughter from getting killed right in front of your eyes? How would you feel when you had to hold your dying daughter in your arms and rush her to the hospital hoping that she was going to make it? Why not it be me who was dead instead of my daughter?
How would you counsel a friend who is grieving with something this deep?
I thank God for the opportunity to help someone grieve today. Through prayer, through the reading of His Word, through the comfort of the Holy Spirit this friend got the help he needs to move forward, releasing her daughter into God's mighty hands.
With God's help it is possible to overcome any tragedy in life and to move forward with grace and strength.

Spiritual Warfare, Deliverance
I have been meeting quite a number of young adults and adults who have been hearing voices, seeing images of demonic figures, and coming under a lot of Satanic influences.
One person had served Satan for more than 30 years full time and had 666 tatooed on his right arm, along with many devilish figures. He accepted Christ. One other also told of a time when he talked to Satan and promised Satan his soul, and Satan in return promised to give him a small kingdom.
Have you ever encountered or ministered to someone who has been attacked by demons and devils?
How has God used you to bring deliverance to a person who was harassed, tormented, oppressed or possessed?

I just led one person who was fighting with anxiety disorder and racing thoughts to the Lord yesterday.
She gave her life to Christ. After that I anointed her forehead, her hands and prayed for her.
In the name of Jesus I was breaking the curses over her life, binding the diseases, the headache, the back pain, the suicidal thoughts and casting them out of her life.
What a difference it made in her life right away. She is well now having her sane mind back. I lead her in a Bible study today at work. God is great.

A Ministry of Healing and Deliverance
Working at an institution, I see many hurting people everyday. They are there dealing with a lot of personal challenges; From suicidal thoughts, seeing nightmares, hearing voices to altered mental status, to psychosis, schizophrenia, bipolar I, II, from minor depression to major chronic to total sickness and lost in the world of self-abuse, drugs and alcohol and sexual addiction. There are also those struggle with demonic oppression as well.
Dr. Laurie A. Vervaecke authored her book Woman, Why Are You Weeping? wrote that 1 out of 4 females and 1 out of 6 males were molested or raped by the age of 18. This is a very reality that we are facing.
I also see a lot of anger and hatred and unforgiveness which seem to cause more emotional problems and physical pains. Forgivenss is one of the keys to their healings. When they are able to release everything unto the hand of the Lord and to forgive the aggressor or those who have hurt them in the past, they are able to find the strength to move forward.
Everyday, I see hope in the eyes of those who are open to the Spirit of God working in their lives prompting them to respond to Christ Jesus. He is always ready standing at the door of their hearts knocking, waiting for them to open wide so that He can come in to forgive, to deliver, to heal and to save, to redeem that which is lost.
I ask that you would help pray for me daily for spiritual strength and power, for discernment to know which spirits are invading these souls and how to listen to their stories, to hear the pain behind the words and provide the best and effective pastoral care they need.
God is the Healer. I only need to be sensitive to them and to point them to Christ. When they are ready, miracles do happen here; hearts are restored; lives are saved; souls are won into the kingdom of God.
Every week there are about 3-4 people are delivered and saved. I also baptize them and encouraged them to plug into a Christian church, a faith community near their homes so they can grow and be supported.

Alcoholic and drug addict found Jesus
It was a sad story that has a happy ending. Today on the street of life someone I just met in the hall was crying out for help, for relief from the pain and suffering, for healing from the shame and guilt and for release of the boiling anger which is covered up with alcohol and drugs and other deadly stuff which is not made for the body.
Pain and suffering started to hit this person at a very early years at 5 years old. She suffered sexual molestation and rape from her adopted father. The adopted mother has done nothing to stop the abuse. Her very own mother was into drug and suicidal thoughts, and she could not keep the children but gave them up to CPS.
From 5-17 this poor little girl suffered along with her brother and sister at the evil hands of her adopted father. The demons and unclean spirits have attacked them since a very young age. Addicted to crack cocaine, hot check she had to go to prison to pay for the crime. Alcohol could not solve the anger problem. More hangover. More hurt and pain sank deeper in her heart, and her life was ruined. Suicidal thoughts brought fear to her that it was time to seek help. Help is available.
Lots of blame on the adopted father and mother who do not really care for her and her siblings, but abused them for their pleasure. Diabetic, sick with other demons attacking her on a regular basis. Her husband is also in need of help. What does she do? She cannot live on like this any more. She needs God desperately to intervene.
Today, the Lord found her sitting idly and sent me to talk to her and to lead her back to the Lord. She has found the Lord after confessing her sins and unrighteousness. She gave everything into God's hands and rebuked, renounced Satan and all evil, unclean spirits in her life. They are bound and cast out of her life for ever. Today is her day. A day of new beginning. A day God broke through to her of her need for the Savior and Deliverer. No more running away from pain. No more covering it up with alcohol and drug.
God is merciful to her. In His time He does make everything beautiful.
