Prayer Blankets

"I am making crocheted prayer blankets for patients at the hospital, working with the pastor there in the hospital. She scopes out people that are alone have no visitors and are depressed and elderly.

The first one I gave her to find a home for was a lady that needed her foot removed due to diabetes. She was mad at the world and had no one, refusing the surgery. Just bitter. The pastor gave her the prayer blanket …it is kind of lap cover size made of yarn. I enclose a letter that says " This prayer blanket was made by someone that loves you , hold it close and let it warm you and God will do the rest"

When she gave it to her her whole outlook changed, she allowed the surgery and allowed rehab to work with her, the pastor said a student nurse saw the change and called it a miracle.

The pastor told her people just sometimes need to think someone cares. I don't think the nurse will ever forget it, what a blessing I hope she thinks of the prayer blanket every time she deals with a difficult patient sometimes it is just fear of the unknown that drives to meanness.

I wish I could make them faster but my wrists can only do so much. But that is ok I am sure God will let me do what I need to when I need to do it."

I am Free

If you had 8 car wrecks, 3 flip-overs, 2 head-on collisions due to drug, then what did you do about the drug problem? Have you ever suffered back pain, knee pain, heart pain, lung pain, headaches and all kinds of pain in your body? How much prescribed drug or illegal drug does your body really needs to address the pain problem?

Have you ever been abused by somebody else you really trust? How do you address that emotional hurt and psychological pain problems? Would the street drugs help at all? No, not at all. The pain is still there. The drugs just cover it up like you have no problem at all. After awhile your body may develop resistance to all these drugs so you have to have more drugs, stronger dosages to address the deeper drug and pain problems.

Have you ever wanted to quit thinking about the pain, the hurt and all the sadness in your life, but your mind and heart won't quit thinking or feeling about it? The more you have tried the harder it seems to get rid of all these thoughts and feelings. Using the street drugs or being addicted to the pain killers is just a way to cover up something deeper.

You may have a spiritual problem. Your heart needs to be fixed. You may need to make peace with God first and to have the peace of God in your heart more than anything else first.

After confessing all your sins, unrighteousness and repented of all your sins, you asked and received God's forgiveness for your sins. The blood of Jesus Christ washes away all your sins and unrighteousness. You are set free to worship God, to love God for a very first time. After the sinner's prayer, you have given your heart to the Lord Jesus; he is your master, your Lord and Savior; He is your Healer, your Deliverer and Redeemer. He is your God. You want Him now more than anything in the world.

Then suddenly all the desire to seek drugs, all the pain and anguish in your soul and body vanished, disappeared, no where to be found. You are elated, excited about the headache which is gone now; the heaviness in your heart is also lifted up; your mind suddenly is clear. What's going on? What did just happen to you? The Lord Jesus just touched you. That's all. It's His divine finger. It's His amazing love and powerful grace that reached deep down in your soul and pulled you back out. You have been trying to hide, to run away from all your pain. No more. No more shame. No more guilt. No more sickness and diseases. You are free to run. You are free to dance. You are free to live for Him, the One who saves you and redeems you from the pit of hell.

It was you that God has had an appointment today on the street of life. Grace has found you. It's God's amazing grace that saved such a sinner like me. I once was lost, but now I am found; was blind but now I see. You are full of joy now. Hallelujah.

If this describes you, just praise the Lord for He is great; God is good all the time. Oh yes, He is going to use you to give testimonies. The young people whose life has been wrecked will hear you and turn away from their wicked ways. They will make their choices to run toward God or away from God. Glory be to God in the Highest.

Demonic Voices Be Gone in Jesus' Name

Have you ever heard voices in your head, in your mind that harass you day and night with guilt, shame which you cannot just get rid of at will? The voices condemning, putting guilt trip on her heart get worse when one day they prompted this poor soul to try to kill herself on the streets of life.

She is tired, sick; diseases attack her body, nothing much to live for. Problems with unforgiveness with her husband for what he did to her precious children; her mother was domineering. She could no longer stand the pressure any more. She has done everything she could to protect her loved ones.

Going from one doctor to the next, trying to find the help she needs but no one seems to be able to help her. The drugs she got from her prescription does not ease her guilt. The voices were persistent and condemning.

One day on the streets of hope, she met the Lord Jesus Christ. He was so tender and loving; he listened to her pain, hurt and feelings of depression and desperation. She wanted to talk to someone. Who was out there able to listen to me Oh Lord?

After pouring out her heart, emptying her mind, confessing all the sins, repenting of her sins, and forgiving those who hurt her in the past many years, she was led to rebuke the sickness in her body, her mind, her heart, God in His mercy and grace and power through Jesus Christ has set her free. Instantly she broke out cry of joy and tears streaming down her cheeks, "Yes, I am free. No more pain. No more depression. No more letting sin dominate me any more."

She is now able to let go of the past. She chooses to be happy in Jesus Christ, no longer letting the past tearing her apart. Hallelujah! Amen.
God, you are good. You are great to us all.
