God’s Healing You Today

God’s Word clearly indicates Jesus healed by the power of the Holy Spirit. He is anointed to do God’s will. 18‘The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to let the oppressed go free, 19to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favour.’ (Luke 4:18-19)

Jesus healed the sick by his spoken word, by laying hands on them and casting out demons. He also called and sent out his twelve disciples to heal in His name, in his power and in his authority just like he was there with them. “Then Jesus summoned his twelve disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to cure every disease and every sickness.” (Matthew 10:1)

Jesus sent them out preaching, healing, and casting out demons. 7As you go, proclaim the good news, “The kingdom of heaven has come near.” 8Cure the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons. You received without payment; give without payment.” (Matthew 10:7-8)

Jesus said this sickness which the woman had for 18 years was bound by the devil. Satan’s oppression is evident (Romans 10:38). Demonic oppression is real. Sickness comes as a result of rebellion, sin and demonic influence.

The root cause is spiritual, and therefore has to be dealt with spiritual power through prayer. The commanding prayer of faith in the name of Jesus will have results. “11And just then there appeared a woman with a spirit that had crippled her for eighteen years. She was bent over and was quite unable to stand up straight. 12When Jesus saw her, he called her over and said, ‘Woman, you are set free from your ailment.’ 13When he laid his hands on her, immediately she stood up straight and began praising God.14But the leader of the synagogue, indignant because Jesus had cured on the Sabbath, kept saying to the crowd, ‘There are six days on which work ought to be done; come on those days and be cured, and not on the Sabbath day.’ 15But the Lord answered him and said, ‘You hypocrites! Does not each of you on the Sabbath untie his ox or his donkey from the manger, and lead it away to give it water? 16And ought not this woman, a daughter of Abraham whom Satan bound for eighteen long years, be set free from this bondage on the Sabbath day?’” Luke 10:11-17

“4Surely he has borne our infirmities and carried our diseases; yet we accounted him stricken, struck down by God, and afflicted. 5But he was wounded for our transgressions, crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the punishment that made us whole, and by his bruises we are healed.” (Isaiah 53:4-5) We have seen those who were healed had their faith in Jesus. He could not heal if there was unbelief. His power is the anointing released by His Name.

Jesus does not only save our souls. He heals our spirit, soul and body. He died to bear a curse for us “for he who is hanged is accursed by God.” (Deut. 21:23), and therefore the curse over our life is broken. Jesus shed his blood so that we can be forgiven for “without shedding of blood there is no remission.” (Hebrew 9:22). He was wounded so that we can be made whole for “by his bruises/stripes we are healed.”

You can be anointed today by the Holy Spirit to have his power to do God’s will. Jesus is waiting for you to exercise your faith in Him and in his Word. Let’s go do as He has commanded today without any more delay.

Jehovah Rapha - Our Healer and Deliverer

Our God is the God who heals all our sickness and diseases. Asclepius, the Greek god of healing is no match for God. No gods or man-made gods shall ever be like our Almighty God. Man has limitations, but God has unlimited wisdom and power. Nothing is impossible with God.

What do you expect when you sit down with a group of people and have devotion? It was a surprise to me recently when I started reading a passage, Isaiah 55 to a group, and the demonic spirits manifested? As the Scripture was read, I noticed someone who was sitting on the far right of the room started to manifest evil manifestations. Fear gripped someone sitting nearby him. She stood up and left. The rest of the group sat still.

I finished the reading of the Scripture, walked over to him, prayed a simple prayer binding the spirits in him and commanded them to leave him and never to enter him again. I was calm and focused on the task at hand. There was another lady who tried to interfere and started talking to the demons.

Demons can sense divided authority and therefore can resist from coming out of the person. I signaled someone to help take care of that lady so that the group could stay still or pray silently while I continued to help the person in need.

After some time, more prayers binding and commanding the spirits to leave the man, God healed the man. He regains his sound mind, composure; he got up a new man; he is thankful afterward to God who heals and delivers him from the tormented spirits. He has been fighting these spirits for a while; many people have prayed for him for deliverance, but things seem to get worse, until we met in a group setting like this, and God delivered him. Thanks be to God. Hallelujah.

What do you do when you see someone suffer oppression of the mind, threaten, taunt, laugh and then suddenly slither on the floor hissing like a snake; the body is contorted? What do you do when you encounter someone who is arrogant, act like a child and manifest something evil? There could be legion of demons or spirits in the person. You’ve got to be ready, protected by the blood of the Lamb, anointed by the power of the Holy Spirit to do what must be done now.

Will you then go pray in the closet for God to send someone to come and help that tormented person, or will you stand up and stand firm on the Word with boldness from the Holy Spirit and drive the spirits out with a word or two. Will you tolerate the tormented and oppressing spirits acting out like that, or will you fear and do not know what to do? It was tense, a very intense situation in the public eye.

However, you don’t need to draw attention. Some demons when they come out, they can come out quietly or with screaming noises, howling, wailing so loudly. There can be things squirming in the head or in the body, pain running up and down or moving around.

When you have someone tell you that he has some spirits in them, ask them what he wants to be free from? What does he want God or Jesus to do for him? Does he want the demons to come out? A person in the past may have disobeyed God and become rebellious, dealt with sin, got depressed, full of hatred, fear, anxiety and worry, involved with witchcraft, sorcery, idolatry, evil spirits, demonic activities or Satan worship.

There may be something, sin that the person has tried hard to get rid of. He may be in bondage without knowing it. Satan is a liar who steals, kills and destroys. Tolerate him no more. Resist the devil, and he shall flee from you.

Always with care, sensitivity and discernment depend on the Holy Spirit and His guidance; help the person give his life to Jesus today. Help the person close all the doors. Confess all sin to God; cut all ties; rebuke the devil, renounce all evil forces and demonic power of darkness.

After all the doors are closed, bind the spirits. With Jesus’ authority given you, cast them out and command them never to enter the person again in the Name of Jesus. The spirits will obey in the name of Jesus and come out. If they do not, go back and see if there are hidden sins, open doors remained.

When the spirits come out, a person will witness God’s tangible presence and power. Sanity of mind, love, peace, joy, strength will come over that freed person. He doesn’t have to live with demonic oppression any more.

What about you? “Are you willing to pick a fight with evil?” Kenny Luck asks in his book. Are you open and willing to do what Jesus has commanded you to do?

Will you give testimony to the power of God and speak up or speak out against demonic activities?

God Is Good and Almighty!

God is great! He has done miraculous things in the life of the people here.
On Monday during worship, the Spirit of God moved strongly among the participants. One in particular broke down crying. She later said something moved within me and convicted me of the things I did in the past. Then I felt the love of God also warmed my heart.

The next day, this young lady while sitting there in a group as I read Isaiah 55, she witnessed one young man manifested demonic manifestation. She got scared, got up and called her friend and said that she saw something scary. As God's Word is read, the demons started to act up and came out of the young man. I finished reading the Word and walked over to him and bound the evil spirits and unclean ones and command them to leave him.

The more I pray the more he twisted and turned and slipped down out of his chair onto the floor; fluid ran out of his mouth and nose, his eyes and body contorted. When I stopped praying out loud, the man slowed down; but when I prayed more fervently with eyes open, the body is like a snake slithered, contorted and more spirits came out of him.

Before that he was like having a bad day, negative attitude against everyone, and everything, but after a while he stood up a new man. He gave his life to the Lord and is a new person. The group noticed the difference the man has shown. He talks about the Lord and is now very kind toward people.

Today, after the group praise and prayer time, one other young man gave his life to Christ, and immediately he said to experience peace and calmness in his mind and relaxation in his body. He said that this is the best experience he has ever had and thanked me for praying for him. What a glorious day that God has reached down and saved him.

Then a sick lady with back problem and migrain headache came for prayer. After the laying on of hands with another lady holding her hand agreeing in prayer, God touched her back and healed her right on the spot. She testified that the migrain headache was gone and so is the back pain which she had a moment before that which were there for a long time.

Near the end, the lady who gave her heart to the Lord asked to be baptized, and I told her I will baptize her, go get your friends and wait for me there. She did.
After reading a few verses in Romans 6 I asked her to renounce all evil forces, cut all ties to the evil one, rebuke Satan and affirm her faith in Christ Jesus.

She publicly declares her faith in Christ and her desire to be baptized in the Name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. I baptized her in the Name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit and welcomed her into the family of God. What a beautiful moment to witness. God is great all the time. He is saving people left and right.

One of her friends saw what happened a couple of weeks ago, especially things he witnessed a couple of days ago, testified that he has been to church for a long time but saw more here what God has done than the previous years of his life.

Let's give thanks to the Lord for He is great.

Sharing Testimonies and Joy with You

Last week, I had a wonderful opportunity to baptize an ex-Satanist. He gave his heart to the Lord Jesus earlier, and now wanted to receive baptism. After explaining to him what baptism means, he understood and decided to make the commitment to die to self, to identify with Christ and to rise again with Christ to live a victorious Christian life.

In the name of the Father, of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit I joyfully baptized him and welcomed him into the Kingdom of God. What a day. What a powerful testimony for the Lord that he is making already.

Another one after years of pain and anguish in her soul about a sickening disease decided to give her life to the Lord. I led her to renounce all ties to the dark world and its demonic forces, renounced the evil spirits and denounced Satan.

In the name of Jesus I bound the evil spirits that had oppressed her for a long time and cast them out of her life. Immediately after that, a beautiful smile appeared on her face. It is no longer a sad and troubled face but a radiant smile expressing the new found relief and freedom from the pain and anguish of the soul.

I asked her if there is anything that would stop her from receiving the water baptism. She said nothing would stop the baptism. I simply explained to her what baptism meant and gladly baptized her in the name of the Father, of the Son and the Holy Spirit. She felt cleansed, pure and relieved of the burden that had put upon her heart for a long time. What a mighty God we serve. You can help but notice a new calmness she has shown after that.

More and more, I have experienced leading many troubled people to seek the Lord, and some have found the joy of salvation, healing and deliverance that they were looking for.

Today while we were singing songs worshipping God, the Holy Spirit moved mightily on one of the participants, and she broke out crying. Another friend came to hold her as we continued our worship. Through the song the Holy Spirit touched her and mended her broken heart. Many gave thanks to the Lord afterward.

Keep pressing on.

Healing God, Healing Scripture

Exodus 15:26
26He said, ‘If you will listen carefully to the voice of the LORD your God, and do what is right in his sight, and give heed to his commandments and keep all his statutes, I will not bring upon you any of the diseases that I brought upon the Egyptians; for I am the LORD who heals you.’

I Kings 17:17-24
17 After this the son of the woman, the mistress of the house, became ill; his illness was so severe that there was no breath left in him. 18She then said to Elijah, ‘What have you against me, O man of God? You have come to me to bring my sin to remembrance, and to cause the death of my son!’ 19But he said to her, ‘Give me your son.’ He took him from her bosom, carried him up into the upper chamber where he was lodging, and laid him on his own bed. 20He cried out to the LORD, ‘O LORDmy God, have you brought calamity even upon the widow with whom I am staying, by killing her son?’ 21Then he stretched himself upon the child three times, and cried out to the LORD, ‘O LORD my God, let this child’s life come into him again.’ 22The LORD listened to the voice of Elijah; the life of the child came into him again, and he revived. 23Elijah took the child, brought him down from the upper chamber into the house, and gave him to his mother; then Elijah said, ‘See, your son is alive.’ 24So the woman said to Elijah, ‘Now I know that you are a man of God, and that the word of the LORD in your mouth is truth.’

II Kings 4:8-37
8 One day Elisha was passing through Shunem, where a wealthy woman lived, who urged him to have a meal. So whenever he passed that way, he would stop there for a meal. 9She said to her husband, ‘Look, I am sure that this man who regularly passes our way is a holy man of God.10Let us make a small roof chamber with walls, and put there for him a bed, a table, a chair, and a lamp, so that he can stay there whenever he comes to us.’
11 One day when he came there, he went up to the chamber and lay down there. 12He said to his servant Gehazi, ‘Call the Shunammite woman.’ When he had called her, she stood before him. 13He said to him, ‘Say to her, Since you have taken all this trouble for us, what may be done for you? Would you have a word spoken on your behalf to the king or to the commander of the army?’ She answered, ‘I live among my own people.’ 14He said, ‘What then may be done for her?’ Gehazi answered, ‘Well, she has no son, and her husband is old.’ 15He said, ‘Call her.’ When he had called her, she stood at the door. 16He said, ‘At this season, in due time, you shall embrace a son.’ She replied, ‘No, my lord, O man of God; do not deceive your servant.’
17 The woman conceived and bore a son at that season, in due time, as Elisha had declared to her.
18 When the child was older, he went out one day to his father among the reapers. 19He complained to his father, ‘Oh, my head, my head!’ The father said to his servant, ‘Carry him to his mother.’ 20He carried him and brought him to his mother; the child sat on her lap until noon, and he died. 21She went up and laid him on the bed of the man of God, closed the door on him, and left. 22Then she called to her husband, and said, ‘Send me one of the servants and one of the donkeys, so that I may quickly go to the man of God and come back again.’ 23He said, ‘Why go to him today? It is neither new moon nor sabbath.’ She said, ‘It will be all right.’ 24Then she saddled the donkey and said to her servant, ‘Urge the animal on; do not hold back for me unless I tell you.’25So she set out, and came to the man of God at Mount Carmel.
When the man of God saw her coming, he said to Gehazi his servant, ‘Look, there is the Shunammite woman; 26run at once to meet her, and say to her, Are you all right? Is your husband all right? Is the child all right?’ She answered, ‘It is all right.’ 27When she came to the man of God at the mountain, she caught hold of his feet. Gehazi approached to push her away. But the man of God said, ‘Let her alone, for she is in bitter distress; the LORD has hidden it from me and has not told me.’28Then she said, ‘Did I ask my lord for a son? Did I not say, Do not mislead me?’ 29He said to Gehazi, ‘Gird up your loins, and take my staff in your hand, and go. If you meet anyone, give no greeting, and if anyone greets you, do not answer; and lay my staff on the face of the child.’ 30Then the mother of the child said, ‘As the LORD lives, and as you yourself live, I will not leave without you.’ So he rose up and followed her. 31Gehazi went on ahead and laid the staff on the face of the child, but there was no sound or sign of life. He came back to meet him and told him, ‘The child has not awakened.’
32 When Elisha came into the house, he saw the child lying dead on his bed. 33So he went in and closed the door on the two of them, and prayed to the LORD. 34Then he got up on the bed* and lay upon the child, putting his mouth upon his mouth, his eyes upon his eyes, and his hands upon his hands; and while he lay bent over him, the flesh of the child became warm. 35He got down, walked once to and fro in the room, then got up again and bent over him; the child sneezed seven times, and the child opened his eyes. 36Elisha* summoned Gehazi and said, ‘Call the Shunammite woman.’ So he called her. When she came to him, he said, ‘Take your son.’ 37She came and fell at his feet, bowing to the ground; then she took her son and left.

II Kings 5:7-8
7When the king of Israel read the letter, he tore his clothes and said, ‘Am I God, to give death or life, that this man sends word to me to cure a man of his leprosy?* Just look and see how he is trying to pick a quarrel with me.’
8 But when Elisha the man of God heard that the king of Israel had torn his clothes, he sent a message to the king, ‘Why have you torn your clothes? Let him come to me, that he may learn that there is a prophet in Israel.’

II Chronicles 16:9
9For the eyes of the LORD range throughout the entire earth, to strengthen those whose heart is true to him. You have done foolishly in this; for from now on you will have wars.’

Psalm 107:19-20
19Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble,
and he saved them from their distress;
20he sent out his word and healed them,
and delivered them from destruction.

Matthew 3:1-2
In those days John the Baptist appeared in the wilderness of Judea, proclaiming, 2‘Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.’*

Matthew 4:17
17From that time Jesus began to proclaim, ‘Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.’*

Matthew 6:10-13
10 Your kingdom come.
Your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.*
12 And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
13 And do not bring us to the time of trial,*
but rescue us from the evil one.*

Matthew 8:16-17
16That evening they brought to him many who were possessed by demons; and he cast out the spirits with a word, and cured all who were sick. 17This was to fulfil what had been spoken through the prophet Isaiah, ‘He took our infirmities and bore our diseases.’

Matthew 10:1, 7-9
1 Then Jesus* summoned his twelve disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to cure every disease and every sickness.
7As you go, proclaim the good news, “The kingdom of heaven has come near.”* 8Cure the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers,* cast out demons. You received without payment; give without payment. 9Take no gold, or silver, or copper in your belts,

Matthew 15:30-31
30Great crowds came to him, bringing with them the lame, the maimed, the blind, the mute, and many others. They put them at his feet, and he cured them, 31so that the crowd was amazed when they saw the mute speaking, the maimed whole, the lame walking, and the blind seeing. And they praised the God of Israel.

Matthew 19:2
2Large crowds followed him, and he cured them there.

Mark 5:36-39
36But overhearing* what they said, Jesus said to the leader of the synagogue, ‘Do not fear, only believe.’ 37He allowed no one to follow him except Peter, James, and John, the brother of James. 38When they came to the house of the leader of the synagogue, he saw a commotion, people weeping and wailing loudly. 39When he had entered, he said to them, ‘Why do you make a commotion and weep? The child is not dead but sleeping.’

Mark 8:8
8They ate and were filled; and they took up the broken pieces left over, seven baskets full.

Mark 16:17-18
17And these signs will accompany those who believe: by using my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues; 18they will pick up snakes in their hands,* and if they drink any deadly thing, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover.’

Luke 4:18-19
18‘The Spirit of the Lord is upon me,
because he has anointed me
to bring good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives
and recovery of sight to the blind,
to let the oppressed go free,
19to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favour.’

Luke 5:15
15But now more than ever the word about Jesus* spread abroad; many crowds would gather to hear him and to be cured of their diseases.

Luke 7:21-22
21Jesus* had just then cured many people of diseases, plagues, and evil spirits, and had given sight to many who were blind. 22And he answered them, ‘Go and tell John what you have seen and heard: the blind receive their sight, the lame walk, the lepers* are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, the poor have good news brought to them.

Luke 10:17-20
17 The seventy* returned with joy, saying, ‘Lord, in your name even the demons submit to us!’ 18He said to them, ‘I watched Satan fall from heaven like a flash of lightning. 19See, I have given you authority to tread on snakes and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy; and nothing will hurt you. 20Nevertheless, do not rejoice at this, that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.’

John 1:1, 14
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
14 And the Word became flesh and lived among us, and we have seen his glory, the glory as of a father’s only son,* full of grace and truth.

John 8:32, 36
32and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.’
36So if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed.

John 14:23
23Jesus answered him, ‘Those who love me will keep my word, and my Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.

Acts 1:3
3After his suffering he presented himself alive to them by many convincing proofs, appearing to them over the course of forty days and speaking about the kingdom of God.

Acts 10:38
38how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power; how he went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.

Romans 8:14
14For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.

Ephesians 6:16
16With all of these,* take the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the flaming arrows of the evil one.

I Peter 2:24
24He himself bore our sins in his body on the cross,* so that, free from sins, we might live for righteousness; by his wounds* you have been healed.

I John 3:8b
8Everyone who commits sin is a child of the devil; for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The Son of God was revealed for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil.

Lord, I thank you for these verses that are in the Bible. I thank you for opening the eyes of my heart to believe in your Word and to do what you have commanded us to do.

Your Word says "You shall do greater things than I do for I am going back to the Father!" I do so believe and do what you have commanded me to do.

So help us God.

Happy Easter! Happy Resurrection Sunday!

Resurrection Sunday is here again to remind us the very important day of Christianity. So Happy Resurrection Sunday everyone. It is a significant day filled with hope, power and grace.

This is the day that Jesus Christ was raised from the dead from the grave. As you recall Jesus was buried for three days, and on the third day just like the Scripture said, God raised him from the dead.

More importantly, it means a lot to me. I know I am saved; my sins are forgiven; He remembers my sins no more; Psalm 103:12 says, "as far as the east is from the west so far he removes our transgressions from us."

Scripture in Romans 10:9-10 also clearly says, "because if you confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For one believes with the heart and so is justified, and one confesses with the mouth and so is saved."

Are you saved? Have your sins been forgiven? Have you been redeemed by the Blood of the Lamb? Scripture declares: "Here is the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world." (John 1:29)

Nothing else is better than to have your sins forgiven by God. Nothing else is better than to lay every burden, every sin down at the foot of the cross, trust the Lord Jesus and to walk away a free person! Jesus says: "For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." Matthew 11:28-30

Indeed, call on the name of the Lord, and you shall be saved. There is no other way around it. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one can come to the Father but through him(John 14:6).

Definitely, let's celebrate Jesus' resurrection today with joy, gladness and thanksgivings in our hearts. Go tell everyone about Jesus. Go live your abundant life in the name of Jesus and in the power of his resurrection.

Our God is the Healer

Our God is the Healer. He is Jehovah Rapha. “He sent out his word and healed them.” (Psalm 107:20) He is still healing people today. “By his stripes we are healed.” (Isaiah 53:5; I Peter 2:24)

As a child and servant of God, when you encounter sick and tormented people around you, what would you do? Are you moved with Jesus’ compassion for them? Do you want to see sick, depressed, terminally ill people delivered and healed from the pain in their bodies, from the suicidal thoughts in their minds, from the anguish and hopelessness in their souls, from the evil voices that haunt them day and night, from the wicked images that run rampant in their mind?

How do you pray for them? How do you heal them? Are you willing to do what Jesus has commanded you to do in the Word?

Many people when they have some types of sickness or diseases immediately think it’s from God; that God wants them to suffer; that God wants to discipline them and to punish them; that they need to bear the cross, endure the pain and suffering and give thanks. Some pray more and see no result. Does God have sickness and diseases to give to His children? No.

Sickness and diseases are not God’s gifts to his children. They are not from God. Acts 10:38 says, “Jesus went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil for God was with him.” God wants to heal his children who are being oppressed by the devil. Those who come to Jesus got healed. They are not disappointed. They went home rejoicing telling everybody what God has done for them.

Everyday when you interact with people, you need to listen to the Holy Spirit guiding you; when you talk to the people discern in your spirit and find out what the root cause of the sickness and disease. Is it demonic? Is it physio-biological? Is it emotional? Is it mental illness? Is it happening as a result of a sinful lifestyle or a willful disobedient heart?

Find out what they have opened themselves up to in the past and at the present moment? What do they need to repent of? When sin is confessed; when heart is repented; when demonic root cause is exposed by the truth of God’s Word and the Holy Spirit, then the people will be delivered in the name of Jesus. Joy and peace shall come to a person who is set free.

II Corinthians 2:11 says, “Do not be ignorant of the devices of the enemy. Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.” Isn’t it time for the people of God to rise up to a new level of awareness of spiritual warfare that Satan is the deceiver. He is still at work to deceive the world to follow him and to worship him.

The intense warfare is real; it’s raging on between the children of God and the demonic spirits. However, we are not afraid of them. Faith and fear cannot dwell in the same house. Are you equipping yourself and the people you serve with God’s truth so that they can stand firm and not fall prey to the devil. “Resist the devil, and he shall flee from you.” (James 4:7) You just have to remember that he is defeated. You have to believe the One who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.

Indeed, you shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free. Stand up tall. Stand firm on the Word. Be filled with the Holy Spirit and anointed with his power. Go in the name of Jesus and help people be set free.

Go tell them “The Kingdom of God is at hand.” Tell them that Jesus comes to seek and to save that which is lost. He is coming for sinners; he is looking for sick people to heal. He is searching for humble hearts and open minds to use.

Let’s fight the good fight. Finish the race. Keep the faith (II Timothy 4:7). God is counting on you and me. Our victory is sure for the Lord is fighting the battle for us. Sickness, disease, demons, evil and unclean spirits and Satan stand no chance against Jesus.

You and I need to keep our eyes on the Lord. Listen to his commands. Do what Jesus has commanded us. Let’s give him all the praise and glory and honor due His name.

House Cleaning

Will you take a moment to examine your heart, to check your attitude, to look into your mind, to take a serious inventory of things in your house, at your disposal to see if any is contrary to God?

Is there any statue of wood, silver or gold or idol in your house that gives the devil a foothold in your life or entrance into your house to harass, to oppress and to torment you?

Are there things that connect you with the evil one that have graven images of snake, serpent, dragons, turtle, gold coin, lucky star, magic charms…?

Is there any fetish, souvenir that you bought or brought from a place that is full of idol worship?

Is there an oath, a swear, a pledge or an innocent prayer invoked to the Devil or any spirit which is out there to come, help and assist you when you desperately need help?

Are there any graven images of gods that need to be burnt with fire, to be broken and destroyed?

Is there anything, any sin that ensnares you in slavery to sin, sickness and disease?

Are there any evil thought patterns, lustful eyes, wicked desire to hurt and to harm others?

Are there pornographic materials, CDs, videos, internet sexual fantasies, fornication and illicit sex outside of marriage that cause you to sin against God and bring destruction in your life?

Is there any lifestyle that is not reflecting the grace of God in your life?

Are there any alcohol beverage, illegal drugs and food which may cause more harm to the body?

Is there any gambling habit that may destroy your life and family?

Is there any obsessive compulsive habit which may not glorify the Lord in your life?

Is there a curse of poverty?

Is there a curse of voodoo ever put on your life or your family?

Is there something that you said in the past that hurt others and in reality hurt yourself more than you can imagine?

Is there any root of bitterness that needs to be gotten rid of?

Is there any worldly strange belief or false idea that is contrary to the Word of God?

Is there any deception, counterfeit miracle that still gets a hold of you?

Is there any man-made tradition, religion or even mainline denomination that still binds you from being free to worship and to serve the Living God?

Which curse needs to be broken over your life?

Which needs to be removed from your life?

How will your life be transformed to bring healing to you, to bring honor and glory to God?

You’ve got to realize that these are an abomination to the Lord your God. He is a holy and jealous God. You’ve got to deal honestly with God. He sees it all. There is no other god beside Him. You’ve got to be delivered from all the unclean and demonic spirits.

What do you want to be free from? Do you realize your needs of God’s salvation, divine healing and spiritual deliverance? The Devil does not want you to be free. He is a liar; a thief who comes to steal, to kill and to destroy. He is full of deceit. He is still roaming around today to look for those easy targets to devour.

Stop listening to the devil. Stop letting him destroying you and your family.

You’ve got to understand that for the prayer of deliverance to work, all doors must be closed; sins confessed; evil forces rebuked; unclean and evil spirits renounced; all ties with the dark world cut; then in the Name of Jesus and the authority He has given you, you can bind the Devil or the spirits and cast them out.

Only Jesus can heal you! Only Jesus can set you free from bondage. Legion of spirits, unclean spirits are not afraid of you and me, but they are afraid of Jesus. The enemy is defeated by Jesus at the cross; its influence over your life must be destroyed. There should not be any compromise; no negotiation with the devil.

God is at work in your life. He wants you to be free from everything that entangle you, diminish your testimony, and cause you to doubt your faith in God or defeat you. Be set free today in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Live no more as defeated Christians but conquerors through faith in Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior who love us.

Freedom! Free in Christ. Free at last.

Our Sovereign God Fighting the Battles for Us

“He who sits in the heavens laughs; the Lord has them in derision.” (Psalm 2:4) Man thinks of himself as powerful; yet God is and always will be the most powerful One; He is the Almighty God.

Man with his worldly wisdom and knowledge thinks that he can run his own life without God. Yet, the Bible says, “Fools say in their hearts, ‘There is no God.’ They are corrupt, they do abominable deeds; there is no one who does good.” (Psalm 14:1) Man in his confusion, lost in his own darkness, is being used by the devil to accomplish his schemes.

God in His absolute power still reigns over our lives. He comes to seek and to save the lost. The devil knowing his time is near still actively at work trying to deceive as many as he can, yet God’s Holy Spirit is activating the Church, the body of Christ, to prepare her for such a time as this.

As long as we are alive, there will always be troubles coming from the enemy in the heavenly realm fighting against God’s children. No matter what you are going through right now, you just have to remember that God is always near. He will see you through. He will walk with you through the valley of the shadow of death.

He says, “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.” (Isaiah 43:2) You must learn to depend on Him; cry out to Him for help; His angels are ready to assist you. “For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.” (Psalm 91:11)

Is God on your side fighting the fiercest battle for you? Do you know who your real enemy is? Let’s read Ephesians 6:10-20, I Peter 5:8 again. At times, your spiritual battle will be so intense, and you cannot afford to take your eyes off the Lord. You cannot be sidetracked for a second.

However, your faith in God and your will shall be tested constantly. Your love, loyalty and devotion to the Lord will be put through the test of time. Your love of your life shall be tested through trials and proven that you shall not love your life unto death.

Are you willing to give your life completely to God to serve His purpose and His will? Will you surrender your life to Jesus 100% so that there is no turning back for you, so that you will follow Jesus all the way even if it will cost you all your life? Cut the bridge. March forward.

When your intimacy with Jesus reaches a point where you have become one with him in spirit, in your mind, in your heart; you feel what he feels; His will to obey the Father and to do what His Father wants him to do is also your will and sole desire to obey him at all cost. You love the people He loves; you hate the wicked and evil things he hates; you speak the things His Holy Spirit gives you to speak and dare not think of saying anything else to bring attention to yourself but to bring the glory to God.

In the Name of Jesus and in His authority you shall have the power to break the power of death when He calls you to raise the death; power to cast out demons and unclean spirits; power to heal the sick and to bring healing to those in needs of deliverance. God, Jehovah-Rapha, our Healer deserves all the glory, all the praise, all the honor.

Is there anything still in the way that stops God from blessing you? Is Satan having any reason to bring any charge against you in the heavenly court? Is there anything that you are still ashamed of? Is there any root of bitterness? Is there any pride or arrogant attitude that does not reflect the mind of Christ in you? Is there any compromise with the world that may interfere with your faith in God? Is there any principality or power other than the power of God working in you?

Let’s come to the Lord and confess all our sins and repent. Turn around 180 degree and walk toward God, stand by Him. Lay down your life for the sake of the Gospel. Count the cost.

God is fighting the battle for us. We shall not be weary; we shall not quit following Jesus. When life is tough, and the Evil one is shooting all kinds of flaming arrows at us, we shall not be afraid but charging forward, fully armored with truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, filled with the Holy Spirit and His power, holding the sword of the Holy Spirit, God’s Word.

Charge! Reclaim the lost lives, souls. Heal the wounded hearts. Impact lives. Transform communities.

Make a difference in someone’s life one at a time.

Ten Powerful Phrases for Positive People

Being positive is an art. It’s a decision. It’s a conscious choice to be made each day, each moment in time. Choosing to be positive reflects your beliefs, attitudes that you have about God, others and yourself.

You can build up others; you can encourage others; you can see the potential that others have; you can concentrate on the positive traits, focus on the right instead of the wrong, the good instead of the bad.

You can inspire others, leading others by your examples not by your positions. When others fall apart and full of negative, you can remain positive.

You can learn from failures, setbacks and use them as stepping stones instead of letting them be your discouragements and reasons to quit.

You can be a motivator, encourager rather than a critic. Your choice!

You can choose to point out all the positive things instead of pointing your fingers at God, at others.

You can choose to bring positive news to others in a world full of negative.

You can choose to use phrases like: “You can do it!” “Thank you.” “I’m so proud of you.”

You can choose to let life flow freely out of you.

A positive frame of mind changes you and how you think, enabling you to lift up other people.

Make it a habit to choose to think positively. You can change yourself, make a difference, make an impact in the life of others.

You can drag people down, or you can lift them up.

You can be a life enricher, or you can be a life destroyer.

You can rise up to become leaders who have the power to be examples for the rest of us to follow.

You can work together to create a right climate, a positive atmosphere to improve the community.

1. “I’m wrong” - I chose to begin with “I’m wrong”

2. “I’m sorry” - Along with saying “I’m wrong” we have to be sorry for it.

3. “You can do it” - is the positive phrase you can always use to encourage others.

4. “I believe in you" - One of the most effective ways we can help others achieve their Dreams is to assure them, “I believe in you.”

5. “I’m proud of you” - Probably the most powerful thing we can say to others, next to “I love you,” is “I’m proud of you.”

6. “Thank you” - Having “thank you” in our vocabulary and top of mind is simply an expectation for all of us who function successfully in our civilized society.

7. “I need you” - Our very life once depended on needing someone.

8. “I trust you” - The success of our society depends on trusting that someone will do a good job, trusting each other to be honest, trusting that people will keep their promises.

9. “I respect you” - You earn respect by showing respect.

10. “I love you” - To say “I love you” and mean it with all your heart has remarkable power.

Forgiveness

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE
“And don’t sin by letting anger control you. Don’t let the sun go down while you are still angry” (Ephesians 4:26, NLT).

TODAY'S WORD from Joel and Victoria

Do you realize how much energy it takes to be bitter or hold a grudge? We only have a certain amount of energy for each day. If we use it for the wrong purposes, focused on the negative, dwelling on who hurt us, we’re not going to have the energy we need for the right purposes. We’re not going to make the best decisions. We’re not going to be as creative. We’re not only doing ourselves a disservice, but we’re doing our family and our friends a disservice.

Remember, you can’t control what people do or say. You can only control yourself. If you’re allowing others to upset you, then you are giving away your power. The Scripture says, “Don’t let the sun go down on your anger.” The reason many people have no joy or enthusiasm is because they go to bed every night with anger and unforgiveness.

When you go to bed like that, with a cluttered mind, focused on the negative, you wake up with the same negative emotions. Don’t let anger and unforgiveness block God’s blessing in your life. Choose to let those things go so you can live in the peace, joy, and power the Lord has for you.

A PRAYER FOR TODAY
Heavenly Father, today I am releasing every negative thing that has happened to me. I’m forgiving every person who has hurt me. I’m forgiving myself for mistakes I’ve made and releasing every disappointment so that I can live in Your peace and victory. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
