Hope Deferred makes the heart sick! She found hope

As I was standing in a hall, I could not help but notice a young woman who was crying hard. Something seems to bother her greatly. She was talking to someone else, a counselor, who was trying to help her.

As I was getting ready to walk down the hall, this counselor approached me with a referral to talk to this young lady who was in great distress. Sure, I can talk to her and find out how to best help her.

She fell no more love for her husband of many years and just recently left home. They are fighting over the custody of a child. Their teenage child is with her own child. Nothing left to live for. No house. No job. No skills. No church connection. Tired of life, and she just wanted to die. A quite young and beautiful person she is without hope.

Immediately, I listened attentively to her and heard her story. What a story! A life broken with not much hope. However, God has broken into her spirit and allowed her to see that God is watching over her and giving her bright hope and a better future. Through the Word of God shared in that instant, this young lady found new hope, and the tears stopped immediately. She found out that God still loves her though her husband may have gone on with his life and does not leave much for her. She found out that God cares for her, and she does not doubt God any more.

I shared with her that death and life are in the power of the tongue; whoever loves it will eat its fruits. She chose life over death. She chose hope over hopelessness. God chose her and He entered her heart right then and there. I gave her a Bible to read. She welcomes it. The young woman left the office with such hope that she was able to leave the facility to go home soon after a couple of days.

God is still at work in the lives of many of His children. We all must be where God needs us most. It's right where we are!

Life Is Being Changed!

A young man who has been in his own wonderland fantasy world addicted to heroin and had to be detoxed. God met him in a powerful way that moves his heart to tears. I brought him a message from the heart that God loves him and that he can become great if he chooses to walk the narrow way/God's godly way of life. He does not want to have that lifestyle any more. Only God knows how he can use such a young life for the sake of the Kingdom.

His life in an instant is changed by the love of God. He realizes for the first time that God loves him and he surely wants to change for the better. He receives a Bible and is encouraged to read the book of James.

God in so many tangible ways reaches out to seek and to save the lost. We just have to be His willing vessel to be used in the hands of the Master.

Headache Instantly Left!

Recently, I saw a young man was holding his head, constantly saying "my head hurts. Oh my headache." It's the withdrawal. Tylenol does not semm to help him. It's still hurting.

After talking for a while about the headache and other life issues, I asked him if he wanted me to pray for him. No, he did not want to. He did not think that God cares about him or loves him. If God does, why did God allow this or that to happen in his life?

I told him that I know that God loves you and He cares about you. Would you like me to pray for you? Finally, he agreed to let me pray for him. As soon as I laid my hand upon his shoulder and prayed for him, the headache left him instantly.

The man was surprised to see that the headache just disappeared instantly. He praised God and thanked God for touching him. I prayed for him some more after that and anointed him and prayed some more. The man left rejoicing to go on doing other things he wanted to do.

God is great. He is the Healer.

A New Beginning

A new chapter has begun today for me.

July 13th, 2010 was a sad day. It was coming actually and finally. It's happening. Nobody really wanted it, but because of the hardness of the hearts, divorce happens. Time stood still. Hearts broken due to insupportability of the marriage.

There are so many things to learn from our past experiences and mistakes; and there are many things we will treasure in our hearts. It's painful. It's not easy, yet we cannot dwell in the past.

We must learn from the past experiences, all the pains and hurts and disappointments and move forward with life with new hope and promises that God who is faithful and righteous will forgive us of our sins, heal our broken hearts and cleanse us.

We can only look toward God for help and healing and move on with our lives. There is hope in God; there is grace from the heart of the Father; there is power from the Holy Spirit to live a victorious life. There is love from Jesus to love God again. There is strength to go on with life and to never quit on God because God never quits on us.
