Sure of Her Salvation in Christ. Heaven is now her home.

As I walked past someone this morning, I noticed that she was crying. Someone else is talking to her. As I about to continue to go somewhere, a voice called out to me saying "she wants to talk to you." I stopped to find out what was happening.

As we talked a little bit, this person asked me how many times God will forgive her. I said as many as you are coming to Him in repentance. It's not 3 times, or 7 times, but 70 times 7. I told her it's not remorse that God is looking for. It's not feeling sorry about it and going out and doing the same thing again. It's repentance; turning around 180 degrees toward God. She cried and deeply touched.

She knew God, but somehow all these long years she has never been able to know that her salvation is secure; she was not sure that if she died she would go to heaven. We prayed. After the prayer, for the first time, she is sure of her salvation.

Tears of joy come down upon her cheeks. She now knows God loves her and does not condemn her any more. She said that it's hard to forgive oneself. Nothing is impossible with God. God loves you and He does not condemn you. Forgive yourself and know that He loves and died on the cross for you even before you knew Him. She realizes now that Jesus is the King of kings, she is the princess. She is God's daughter.

Smile! God loves you. Now she knows something! She knows that God loves her no matter what she did. Satan is the liar, a thief who comes to steal, to kill and to destroy. But Jesus comes to give her life and life more abundantly.

What a blessing to witness Christ's love toward her today. Lord you are good, and your mercy endures forever. A soul at last has found rest in you.
