Found! A prodigal daughter just came home.

It was a busy day today. A little bit tired yet excited about the many opportunities to talk and listen to people in need of prayer. God, however, is still busy saving souls, redeeming broken lives, delivering people who lived in bondage of the past and setting the captives free.

I had a wonderful chance to listen to a lady who struggled with sexual identity. Troubled past, lost childhood, painful memories and broken trust have driven her into a lifestyle which caused her even more pain and hurt. Separation after separation from partner after partner had caused her more disgust, losing hope, losing mind; She feels angry all the time, and was driving all the people who tried to approach her away. People shun her, leaving her with no friends now. What a lonely existence.

Today is her day. She was on God's divine calendar. Salvation has come into her house. Jesus is here ready to welcome another lost soul home. He is waiting for her all these years to come back into the fold. The heavenly Father is waiting for the prodigal daughter to come home where there is bread in the house; where there are joy, love, restoration and a new life full of hope, peace and tranquility.

Today she has decided to give her heart to Jesus and stopped running from her pain and hurt. She confessed her sins to the Lord and repented from her lifestyle. She renounced it in Jesus' name and chose Jesus as her Lord and Savior. She did invite Christ Jesus to come inside her heart and welcomed a new life made possible through the blood of Jesus. She has come home to rest and this time for good.

No more confusion of gender. No more pain of rejection. No more thoughts of depression. No more fear of not being wanted. In Jesus' name she is free to live her life now for God as a woman created in God's own image.

What a relief! What a life so free in Christ. All her sins are paid in full. The Devil has no longer a place in her life. From now on she has chosen Christ Jesus and to run after God. She got a Bible to read now. Resources are provided. Fully rested in the Lord. It must be a great feeling to have and to experience.

God is good all the time. All the time He is good. Thanks be to God.
