God's Creative Power for Healing - The Word

2. Divine Healing Is a Spiritual Cure

9However, as it is written: “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him"[b]— 10but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. 11For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the man's spirit within him? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. 12We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us. I Cor. 2:9-12

19 Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress. 20 He sent forth his word and healed them; he rescued them from the grave. Psalm 107:19-20

20 My son, pay attention to what I say; listen closely to my words. 21 Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; 22 for they are life to those who find them and health to a man's whole body. 23 Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life. 24 Put away perversity from your mouth; keep corrupt talk far from your lips. Proverbs 4:20-24

God’s Word is LIFE, HEALTH, and Medicine to all your flesh. God’s Word will heal your body through spiritual means, the WORD. Receive God’s Word concerning healing into your spirit for supernatural healing.

7 The law of the LORD is perfect, reviving the soul. The statutes of the LORD are trustworthy, making wise the simple. Psalm 19:7

You must speak God’s Word to your individual circumstances or situation-someone else can’t do it for you.

21Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you. James 1:21

Receive God’s Word with meekness which can save your souls.

7If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you. John 15:7

Abide in God’s Word. Let the Word become flesh in you. When God’s Word concerning healing takes root in your flesh, it becomes greater than disease and healing is the result.

35The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him. 36But I tell you that men will have to give account on the Day of Judgment for every careless word they have spoken. 37For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned." Matthew 12:35-37

When your speak God’s Word from your heart, then faith gives substance to the promises of God. The worlds were framed by the Word of God.

3By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God's command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible. Hebrew 11:3

When the Word is engrafted into you it infuses its life into you.

63The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you are spirit[e] and they are life. John 6:63

11And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit, who lives in you. Roman 8:11

Faith Possesses Reality. The woman with the issue of blood continued to speak until she saw herself well.

25And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years. 26She had suffered a great deal under the care of many doctors and had spent all she had, yet instead of getting better she grew worse. 27When she heard about Jesus, she came up behind him in the crowd and touched his cloak, 28because she thought (for she kept saying, the Amplified Bible), "If I just touch his clothes, I will be healed." 29Immediately her bleeding stopped and she felt in her body that she was freed from her suffering. Mark 5:25-29

She was filing her hope with a faith image. She set her own point of contact to receive her healing. Her words penetrated her spirit and she began to see herself well. Her faith filled words and her touch of faith made a demand on the covenant of God and the anointing that was upon Jesus. Faith gave substance to her hope and healing was manifested in her body.

1Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. 2This is what the ancients were commended for. Hebrew 11:1

Her hope was to be healed, but hope didn’t heal her. Faith gave substance to her hope.

The Bible principle of believing and calling for things that are not yet manifest.

23" 'If you can'?" said Jesus. "Everything is possible for him who believes." 24Immediately the boy's father exclaimed, "I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!" 25When Jesus saw that a crowd was running to the scene, he rebuked the evil[a] spirit. "You deaf and mute spirit," he said, "I command you, come out of him and never enter him again." 26The spirit shrieked, convulsed him violently and came out. The boy looked so much like a corpse that many said, "He's dead." 27But Jesus took him by the hand and lifted him to his feet, and he stood up. Mark 9:23-27

6He replied, "If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, 'Be uprooted and planted in the sea,' and it will obey you. Luke 17:6

36Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God's wrath remains on him."[l] John 3:36

22"Have[f] faith in God," Jesus answered. 23"I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. 24Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. 25And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins."[g] Mark 11:22-25

Giving voice to your faith in God’s Word can also make you whole.

“Daughter, Thy Faith hath made thee whole” Mark 5:34

**
The Word has become alive, reviving our souls when we read and believe and apply the Word in our life.

How often have we heard these passages read?
How often have we believed and applied these passages in our daily life?
How often have we experienced the power of the Word in our daily life?
