Retreating to Rest

We all need to have a special time to retreat to rest from the cares of life. It is important to us enough that we should have one. This important event is not to be neglected as long as we are in the line of duty. We need time to rest.

The pastors and spouses need to invest money to go to a retreat. The local church where one is serving can bless the pastor and his/her spouse with a blessing that will enable them to go.

Our connection and fellowship with one another are needed, and a meaningful place or special time to get together and to share our joys and concerns and to strengthen one another is critical. Many time, our life is so crowded with so many things already that we will not have any time left to meet, to call or to visit or to care.

It is important that we should have established some types of communication: tele-conference, phone calls, email or something that is personal and engaging to strengthen our dialogue with one another.

I am open. I am reaching out. I want to connect. I want to uplift someone, and be lifted up and encouraged by others as well. Yet at time, it seems silent. Dead silent. Is there anyone out there I wonder? It only takes a moment to show that you care in a big way.
